Alerid 10mg pill is an antihistaminic medicine. It treats allergy symptoms such as such itching, rashes and swelling by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.
Use this medication in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not crush, chew or break it. This medication should be taken with or without a meal, but it is better to use it at a fixed time.
Missed Dose
Take the forgot dose as quickly as you remember If you miss a dose of Alerid 10mg. Skip the forgot dose If it’s almost time for your next scheduled dose, Do not double your dose to cover up for the forgot dose.
OverDose
Contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of overdose may include restlessness, confusion, dizziness. Supportive measures as gastric lavage might be initiated form on the severity of symptoms.
